Fight To Flight

Hunkered down In the middle of midnight The top was lifted off To reveal a little box In the presence of White LIGHT One by one The walls were taken down Gathered to the center Til the only ground ...flew Suddenly, wings appeared Upon my broken back My faith, finally at home My rhythm sounded without slack One by one The ground and the walls Restored and reconciled To LOVE, who I made so small ...fought Gold are the boundaries All lack devoured Every gift and blessing Freely showered ...safely Written by Trudy Schrader on 03-12-2023
