Fear

What has no hands but grip Tight and squeezes out your courage? What whispers warnings in your Ear and makes you lose all sanity? What has no fangs yet bites down Hard and causes bravery to bleed? What has no from yet invades your dreams at night and Bombards your sleep? What cannot feel anything yet never stop to reap? What tells you it cannot be done yet can’t bear any burden? What catches you throughout your life notwithstanding its delicate trap? What keeps you on your knees and faith, prisoner, victim, slave? What only squeezes it scold grip moments before the grave? What wastes a life and feels remorse, anguish, grief, and concern? What suppresses your desire all life long, then makes you long for more? What has no blade yet does kill you and consumes you in your hallucinations that’s just your dismay?
