Father, Please
I fail constantly my lord,
I make promises buy have no word.
Day to day I stumble over pebbles,
Knowing it's my fault and not the devil's.
Day to day I am weak to temptation,
I take it smiling like an invitation.
I ask that you not leave me,
Yet I dissobey you daily.
I know where I'll be if you leave,
Temptation is a cunningly evil thief.
Without your grace where am I to go?
Father please don't leave this foolish boy.
