Family and Friends
sand box friends , schools yard chases , society separate's us
but still I wonder , how are you? and where you are?
morning race's against first period bells now replaced with a
nine to five morning alarm.
maturity crept in through the back door and now he is forever our guest.
boys to men , women to mothers , was once sisters and brothers
so your faces how could I ever forget?
classroom walls came down .... while chalkboard knowledge became a
window to the real world.
could remember mommy making morning breakfast for me now I stand
in the same kitchen repeating history to my very own little girl.
the sun will always go down......the moon will always rise.
time will always separate us , a cycle we recycle called life but to these
familiar faces in memories, I could never say goodbye.
