Faces

They say there are two sides to everything. I walked up in a place that showed no sorrow, to a face which promised lots of tomorrows. The brightest smile a gal could ever have expected. Before I knew it, I was infected. Sooner than later the second face came out, cause you see there was no doubt, my love had grown all about. One face, two face which one needs to be replaced. One face two face which one deserves to win my grace. How can I ever wait! When our love was so fake. Two hearts were joined yes, they belonged but who could guess there were two faces. Back and forth, in and out of mazes, confused which was real. My head was spinning, all could see the blazes. The energy shared could not be denied, who could have known it was a lie. The second face would soon appear, one that was not as sincere. From outside I could see how one face needed me. Long nights awake there was no mistake, this was the face that won my grace. Number two finally came out, the face that had lots of doubt. Too many people to explore, how could he ever be sure. On to the one he thought belonged, not knowing it was all wrong. One face. two face, which one needs to be replaced. One face, two face, which one deserves to win my grace. How could I ever wait! When our love was so fake.

It's only ever at the end the true face appears, sadly.
