Every Smile

Every smile is not happy, sometimes it's just a facade, a mask to hide the pain within, a bandaid over wounds so raw.
I long for understanding, and a little bit of grace, to be seen for who I truly am, and not just the mask on my face.
I crave acceptance, love, and support, but sometimes I feel so weak, lost in a sea of swirling emotions, struggling to find the peace I seek.
So be gentle with me, my friend, for behind this smile so bright, lies a heart that longs for connection, and a soul that yearns for light.
