Dysfunctional
Duty bound by family ties we feel a weighted anchor
Yearning freedom as we’d like it to be
Sinking into a catch 22 every time
Frustrations get the better of us all
Until we break and then make up
Nothing seems to stop the cycle
Consuming time we can’t get back
Trying to fix what we think we must
Irrational though it seems
Our love runs deep within our roots
Nothing can release us, only
Acceptance
Lets all accept we are Dysfunctional
