I am in love with a dream As beautiful as the moon As enchanting as the starry sky Whose Midas touch can shower me with gold and diamonds. Within my reach a dream of a lifetime I am in love with the dream. I know my Lord. You answer the prayers of your devotees. You will not let go any earnest desire of mine But I do not want you to fulfill my dream I do not want you to clothe it with reality Least it causes a havoc It’s tsunami destroying in its path the relationships of a lifetime. Faith being tossed around in a non-forgiving tornado. Soaking and drenching me in guilt There are more important things in life than love. Integrity is one of them. I am in love with a dream my lord. Do not answer my prayers.
