Don't Play Over My Guilt
I've known strong desires
I couldn't control somehow,
I've gone astray as many have:
that world of limitless pleasures
didn't last for long on false love
and raised many an eyebrow!
Silly girl, don't play over my guilt,
I've cried over my mistakes a lot;
do I need to be told to look down
when I stumble into lovely woman?
I have eyes that see what's beautiful
and ugly, what makes a guy smile;
as long I don't say a word I'm fine:
you can mumble or be a bit merciful!
No smile ever does harm to a casual passerby,
don't play over my guilt and plot more revenge;
I did wrong and I admit it with regret, honey:
look to the future, get rid of your childish rage!
