I was trying to show a powerful message of resilience, hope, and the plea for understanding and support. I wanted the poem to reflected the struggles and challenges faced, symbolized by stumbles and falls, but emphasizes the determination to keep fighting and striving for light despite the darkness. I wanted to also highlight the importance of recognizing the inner spark and restless yearning to overcome difficulties, even when failures and bruises that are visible to the world. But also seek understanding and support from a friend, or family urging them not to judge the struggle and to believe in the individual's ability to rise above the challenges. And lastly show hope and redemption despite the tangled path and uncertain future, this poem should convey a sense of hope and the unwavering spirit to find a place of peace and fulfillment. And for those of you that don't struggle as much I wanted to bring out the touching and inspirational piece of the importance of resilience, hope, and the strength found in supportive relationships.
A million stumbles, a million falls,
A heart that falters, a spirit calls.
I fight the darkness, claw at the light,
Though shadows cling with all their might.
Don't count the failures, the bruises deep,
The battles lost where sorrows weep.
See the flicker, the spark within,
The restless yearning, the fight to win.
I stumble often, I lose my way,
The path is tangled, the future gray.
But still I rise, with weary grace,
To face the dawn, to find my place.
So please, dear friend, don't turn away,
Don't judge the struggle, the fading day.
Don't let the darkness claim my soul,
Believe in me and make me whole.
For though I falter, I will not yield,
My spirit's fire will not be sealed.
Don't give up on me, hold fast your hand,
And watch me rise upon this shifting sand.
To my friends or family members who have close one fighting against mental health or drug abduction.)
