Done
He kicked a stone, looked at his feet
but her eyes, he could not meet.
He had lied, he was ashamed
and her, yes her, he had blamed.
Actions his, consequences too,
for all that he had put her through.
" Enough" she said " I am done.
Off you go, Have your fun,"
Too late he knew what a fool he'd been
when he had thought her response extreme.
But love can die, with mistrust, with lies
and now , he cannot meet her eyes.
