Do You Really Want Your Freedom
Do you really want your freedom?
Tell me. Speak the truth.
Waiting for your answer, it's me tweedle-dee-dumb.
But please, tell me why, or must I play the sleuth?
You would give everything you possess
To protect me from harm.
But if you do leave me, my joy also will egress
I believe I'd rather have you wrap me in your arm.
I'm not sure it's inside me
To give love another try.
My heart does now weep, desperate melancholy.
But if it's what you truely want, then consider this goodbye.
The pieces of my broken heart
Swept under the rug or put in a can on a shelf high above
Consider it a total loss, my mind shall too depart.
Heaven help me if ever again I catch this bug called love.
