Diversity
Diversity
The brochure paints a beautiful picture
Of a plush and exquisite get-a-way
Lavish accommodations, and food
Beaches and art in a vast array
They seek to exploit all the virtues
As if no other issues matter
A dreamland of utopia
Just live for today, - forget the latter
In another brochure, there I see
A plea to help a hungry child
Basic essentials, food and drink
A place to shelter, them from the wild
A war-torn land of poverty
Many homeless, in the cold
Meager items, mean more to them
Than luxuries of silver and gold
Diversity, has always been rampant
It's been around in every date
Solomon's luxuries and his wealth
Or the beggar at the rich man's gate
At the foot of Calvary's cross
Everyone stands the same
Great are small, and small are great
When they gather, in Jesus name
