Dig in Deep, Poet 9/7/2023 Life is for living, don't wait for the Grim Reaper? Take your shower, have breakfast, dress, take a walk. Breathe God's air in and out. So much so that..... With joy, you almost want to shout! Have a chat with a good neighbor, Tell another how very nice they look. Get out of your head, stop pondering That only you, are the outstanding best Do say kind thar words soothe and elevate others. See your smiling neighbor coming to you? In his shiny electric wheelchair? He lost both legs in a war. Smiling so brightly and proudly,walking his dog. Yes, you have a delightful, cordial chat? And you realize that now, you have what it takes. And you finally, a lovely poem do pen. What's so dang hard about that? Your if I can pen a poem, transformed like magic,,, Into..not how, but the joy for …when!!

Ah, dearest Ayana, this poem is so very simple, was surprised it had POTD status, but, I am no fantasy- pants poet with a humungus vocabulary, imagery, etc., still have a ways to go. All I write is what I love and experience and never seek recognition.Poetry is not a bowling alley. Poetry is an art form. Thank you! Pangiexx

Robert, who never left my side, all these.years? I must thank you for always having my back! I finally learned a learned a lesson from you….you aRE SEMPER FI!. I admire your support and teaching of others here. Honesty comes first. Forms are great, but not trying to fit myself into them, like a cute ballet dancer! I did that when I was seven!I don’t think poetry has to be pretty all the time nor a joke.. It’s OK to write of dark topics. Or loss,for that matter. This is such an evocative and soul stirring write that reflects that we have everything that's needed to create our own world of magic and peace only if we realise and rise above the darkness that's hovering above our eyes and see beyond. This is also a messenger to remind our hearts to cherish small moments of joy and to be grateful for what the God has so kindly gifted to us.. I accept you congratulations with a huge smile,I think there are 3,192 poems here. Pangiella is a fun one,))) you have a sense of humor and a warm heart, do you know it? After I broke my thigh bone two tears ago, walking now only with a rollator,boy, I miss running and dancing, even belly dancing. No more stand up comedy, can’t stand! SoI guess there are no comedians who perform in a prone position? LOL I wrote this for me, to be grateful and laugh, so many cool people in life.they taught me all you see in that poem and more. I am not online all day. That’s why you haven’t seen me, but I have produced a lot in a short time, andever in a contest or blog, I get attacked in blogs. I have a tendency to say the truth, a mistake. It cost me! Pangie xx

David~ to tell the truth the man in the wheelchair bid live in the senior park where I live, he was a source of inspiration to me whenever ii saw him. I am sorry to say he has passed on. What do I brought into my heart, when I saw him. Now you made me cry.. making of a human building with such joy, I don’t know what happened to his dog. People like him or one in a million. They all have a unique quality, called HUMILITY. Too much chasing to win, succeed and not enough helping others to become winners…that’s what I call an empty life.. Selfishness or the fat ego!
