Dial My Number
Dial my number if you know the code
Dial my number before my body gets cold
I have been stuck in this place for several days
My throat is dry, my temperature is high
And my breath is circulating in the sky
Oh what misery gathers round me
Oh what burden is resting upon me
I don’t know how I got here but I am surrounding
By something that the universe fears,
The mistletoe is resting in the belly of the beast and
Christmas is parading up and down the street
And the marching band is rumbling along
Big boats are pulling upon the shore
And some frenzy people are banging the doors
I have no clue what is going on but I can
See your shadows moving up and down the wall
and celebrant are coming in from near and far
Fire crackers are screaming in the air
And Christmas is crying out everywhere
Dial my number if you have the code
Dial my number before I fall into the hole
You have got to get me out of this place
Before the angry mob breaks through the gate
I have been waiting for this call,
but all I hear is a daily brawl,
and when my spirit is still
A can hear chatter and knocking on the hill
Dial my number if you have the code
Dial my number before I grow old
The ambulance is blazing down the hill
And the minstrel is doing the early morning drill
Dial my number!
