Desperate Plea
O moon so full and bright
shine on my love and I tonight.
Arouse her to acquiesce –
it’s been months since she said Yes!
Why rush us naked in the backseat
of the car with our passions in a heat
when hope wears thin, so too the thrill,
and if you don’t act soon, we will.
