Decisions, Decisions
When I rise in the morning, a decision what to wear
I look to nature for the answer, but does she really care?
On Thursday, it was eighty-eight, so it’s short sleeves and sandals
So much skin exposed for an early tan, some will prompt scandals.
And just when you think it’s here to stay, a little front comes thru
The squirrels ‘n birds compete for cover, they don’t know what to do.
Thick winter coats they’ve worn so long, begin to feel too hot
Just when they begin to think of thinning out... well maybe not.
Is Nature going through the ‘change’, hot flashes all around?
A fifty degree drop in temperature? A balance must be found!
Our clothes are kept in one closet, not divided here and there
This morning it was thirty-seven, now I ask, what do I wear?
