December Dreams
While still I breathe, I'll craft for you,
The sweetest dreams I ever knew;
With heart aflame, I weave these rhymes,
Like golden threads through cherished times.
When first we sparked a gentle light,
That blazed until it claimed the night;
From emptiness to vibrant whole,
Your love restored my wandering soul.
So while I live, my words take flight,
For you who turned my shade to light;
Who dances through my waking days,
For you who taught my heart to praise.
With joy that courses pure and true,
With strength that rises just for you;
Through paths unknown, in my own way,
You gave me purpose here to stay.
I'll write forever, pure and clear,
Though time may dim what we hold dear;
Each page I fill with measured grace,
Until I reach life's final space.
Your beauty shines with timeless worth,
A gift bestowed but once on Earth;
Each step I'll brave, for love's sweet ache,
To prove my faith was no mistake.
