Decay

Slip into night, Rather than a flight, Destiny, Rests in me, And the world around, Is so very unsound, I beseech, The furthest reach, To cradle me home, Rather than roam, The dark, Hear a lark, Sing, I’ll bring, The world a light, It only seems right, Among the decay, I feel today.
