Dear Younger Self

I am grateful for the Youngman you grew and developed into. However, we both know that growing up wasn’t always easy. Living with parents who always demanded what they thought was the best out you, and the person that you were at the time was full of fear, uncertainty, confusion, limited belief systems, unworthiness, and loneliness. Always feeling like you had to gain other’s approval in order to be accepted then feeling guilty and wrong on the inside if you did not get the acceptance and approval from others. You were young innocent did not know any better. your only true companions were the fear and silence of the void. I understand and have nothing but compassion for you when it comes to all the obstacles you went through with your identity, finding your voice and standing in your own power rather than giving it away to people places, situations, and circumstances you had no control over. But you overcame all of that by not only reaching out to like-minded people but also by discovering the things you where most passionate about and saying no to the things that were not in alignment with what is deep inside your soul, find your own unique voice and share your story with others who resonate with your messages.
