Dante's Inferno
Dante's inferno
a view of Hell and demons
the environs of the damned
bodies of the slain
souls croaking in vain
no more River Styx
its' putrid waters now drained
a horrible grim morass
abode of sinners
addicted to Cain
in the ninth circle
a cacophony of woes
they are screaming forever
the evildoers
those destined for pain
this is God's plenty
a retribution so sure
to avoid this damnation
eschew wrongdoing
from evil abstain
