Great Haiku Bill. you remind me of an incident, when a ranger took visitors out for a night drive. You are allowed to get out on the bridges in the Kruger park as they are brightly lit but the game ranger wandered alone to the back of the jeep and was taken out by a leopard, the rifle he was meant to be guarding the visitors with fell with a clang alerting everyone that something was. His remains were found 3 days after the incident. A true story. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

WOW! What a tragic experience, Jen. The wild animals can be quite scary, especially when hungry and at night. They're very skillful at hunting when hungry. Thanks for the visits and comments, my dear friend. I think your Christmas season is in July, but just in case I'm wring, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Bill & Sara Baker

Delighted:) scared: smile:) by your great Haiku idea, Bill. The vibrant depiction of the perilous jungle emanates a gloomy atmosphere, as the ebony tint of the panther evokes a tangible sense of expectation for its impending attack.

Just seeing those eyes glowing would have me running. I don't know where? A tree won't help. I hope it doesn't feel like human tonight. :-) Have a nice week, Tom. Bill

'Tis like banking, Bill. Compound interest (dark-black) yields a profitable gain. Those eyes are hauntingly engaging, my friend. Aloha, William
