Dancing in the Rain
Dance with me, under the lilac tree,
As the rain entices our lips,
Wild and free, how it ought to be,
My hands caress your hips,
Spin you around, to that lovely sound,
The rhythm of water and toes,
The earth and the ground, a marvelous mound,
Our energy pulses and flows,
I'll dip you down low, to and fro,
Our hands entwined in time,
We'll laugh with the crow, and with the winds blow,
As we dance in the mud and the grime.
Our lips reunite, as we dance through the night,
To a song only we can hear,
Our eyes so bright, never felt so right,
In a world we've never known fear.
