Dad, Do You Remember

Dad, do you remember, when I'd stand on your feet and we'd dance? I would still do it today, given half the chance. Dad, do you remember, when you would swing me high in the air? I laughed until I couldn't breathe, those times were ours to share. Dad, do you remember, when you'd pick me up when I fell? You would wipe away my tears and tend to my grazes as well. Dad, do you remember, when you'd put me on the naughty chair? I know now, that you did it because you care. Dad, do you remember, when I would sit upon your lap? I felt so safe and warm, so in your arms I'd nap. Dad, do you remember, all the memories we shared together, I have them locked in my heart, where they will stay forever.

They certainly do, Daniel :) I had this printed on to a cushion, with a photo of my Dad and me. He loves it :)
