I am crying sorrow, daggers have pierced my heart; Lord, please grant me mercy, I mourn in dreams all night, for peace I am thirsty. I am crying sorrow, my house is weather stained; threads of happy are rare, I pray for compassion, dear Lord, please have a care. I am crying sorrow, clouds like gauzy curtains; red sun rising as blood, to shine as a jewel, and I pick wild rosebud. I am crying sorrow, and wishing for mercy; send me grace and blessings, oh, give me tenderness, and sweet happy endings.

This is interesting. Is it more sorrowful to start a poem, or to end it. Keep writing. It's a good thing.
