Covid-Ation
COVID-ATION
A blanket of grief
covers the earth,
“moaning’s”
from life-breathers;
So much loss-
the cycle of death,
seemingly endless.
Hope dwindles, but
we remember how,
having come through
similar traumas,
we can reach out-
holding “virtual hands”,
smiling into mirrors
of dim unknowns-
Our lights break forth,
and “paired”,
we walk courageously
towards a distant shore
of safety and relief…
