Conviction
I am drunk on a very strange wine
A potion of potent ecstasy.
Stars are spinning around my head
As I run in my day dreams full of lucid daisy fields.
A restless burden is holding my heart hostage
In my long nights alone.
All I can do is say his name
Again, and again, and again.
My love, my lover
My man with emerald seas in his eyes.
In his drunken gaze is where I drift
And swim in his maze
His labyrinth of erotica, mysteries
Jesus Christ, and Lucifer.
He repeats these words a bottle full of times with his drunken lips
" I love you. I love you. Don't you know that I love you".
I have visions of us dancing naked in the desert
Under a midnight blue sky
Laughing like happy hyenas
And making love like angry lions.
I want to anoint his long body from head to toe
With my sweet perfume, for I worship him.
I want to grab his dark hair
As our lips touch with wild hysteria.
Let me stand on top of the mountain
And shout my great conviction!
I want no other man, and what a freedom it is
To be bound and chained to him.
I will win his heart.
Like Columbus, I will discover and conquer his land.
No more shall my love be afar
No more shall his heart be locked from mine.
I stand above all harems and hopes
Of all other fair maidens.
My name is Victoria
My name speaks for itself.
I may be small and fragile
But I stand tall with a sword upon his heart and body
As he surrenders to me.
Tomorrow may be a cruel joke
But tonight I am drunk in a strange love.
I am petrified to pieces.
Lover, please don't do this.
Don't pull over, and ask me to get out
Please....
The road is dark
And the air is cold.
