Conversation

out of nowhere spoke a voice, like mist on the wind, spoke to me kindly and with joy telling me to calm, "We have been waiting," were the words spoken, not as words though more as thoughts drifting by. each vowel was lit by an ethereal light flashing , in the dark entering my thoughts and actions. others gathered round images I recognised, but not as they were ,as they are now, pulses of energy gathering , swirling about, spilling out love and not with a shout. i lay prostate ,flat out on my back, teaching me to speak in their mystical way, words now useless as no one can hear, all struck dumb to speak like a tear, I knew who these apparitions were, loved ones who passed over long ago, ancestors and family from all the years past, giving me wisdom for eons to last. What youve been taught from teachers false, all things taken as rules now fall, established actions all a lie, shaking my heart began to cry. All was in love to lift us all up, love enemies, neighbours as loving oneself, treat all as one would like to be treated, believe and have faith was all that was needed. the images swirl ,voices grow faint, as they pass into the mist once again to rest, ghostly hands touch my face sensing a smile, I smile back ,tears in my eyes, joy in my heart, now there is nothing to fear its just a fresh start.
