CHILDREN OF WAR

Every day we see images of war And the killing of innocent people Countries are being destroyed And the children have no choice There are all kinds of violence and crimes In countries and cities This is starting to be a cruel world No one has an answer as to when the war and crime will end What can the governments recommend Is the answer more money to spend Or is the answer more soldiers to be sent Our children never had a choice All they see is their families being destroyed And the children's future and any hope is wasted Will these children ever fulfill their dreams Even if the war ends someday Who will show the children the right way in life Each day in our hearts we should take a moment To take notice and focus on the future of our children
