Cave
Listen to poem:
Cave
There is no cave
Can hide your light
No hidden place
For Joy so bright
There's nothing
You should shut away
Your beauty needs
The light of day
As friends we'd scale
The highest heights
Clear all the wrongs
Replace with rights
To let you know
The path is down..
To meadows, rivers
In hopeful town
Where dancing, music,
Food and song
Replaces all your sense
Of wrong
Your presence welcomed
To be yourself
Not hermit hidden
Or dusty shelf
For this is where
The love is found..
Where grass is green
Where truths abound
Your heart is free.
Not judged or measured
Just you. Adored.
Accepted. Treasured.
