Castles of Glass
CASTLES OF GLASS
For centuries man have built them;
some fall, while others spring up-
most of their architectural designs are dubious.
Most people die when they climb up unstable stairs,
or lean on their thin walls.
The architects put all the blame on those who built
the castles, from foundations to roofs.
Stone castles and limestone castles are too costly
for the Kings to construct - you see, they need
to stash extra money for their sweet lifestyles
Sunrays paint them
With diamond smiles
Casting rainbow shadows on huts-
At night
Their roof is the sleepless sky
With a million flaming eyes-
The stars that illuminate
The dreams of royals
When time passes by
Throwing stones
To reduce the monstrous figures
Into unforgettable fragments
They remain prominent
Scars on the forehead
Of history
