Caring For Others
There are people who need our care.
Year round, can you do your share?
Maybe just being a great friend?
Helps someone along a rough end.
Don’t be a ghost friend!
It won’t work out in the end.
Your family must be first on the list.
These are the ones, who need a kiss.
Schools need aides to be sure.
If you have time, get them on your venue.
Retirement homes need visitors.
Ever seen a lone senior, staring at their door?
Americans are known for contributions.
Our foreign aide is an institution!
It’s not you, who created inflation!
Don’t think, for a second, we created starvation!
Free food, free housing is available.
The “news” makes us, look grossly unstable.
They deserve a lump of coal in their sock,
Wishing them hearts, not brains full of rocks!
Christmas is not a time for blame.
Nor to make our brethren feel shame!
This is a season of kindness and love.
Do what you can to make the skies shine brightly above!
