But Then We Love

This is a story of creature, Who was stained with malevolence, Tainted with darkness and cursed with greed. He who was given paradise to live, Who was given all the things that he need. And yet, he put evil in all he did. Do you know this creature? It’s us. We crafted arsenal, we invented poison gas Destroyed its abode, the green green grass. This beastly thing is consumed by nothing but mortal sins. Do you know how sinister they have been? They are the worst. ‘coz they do villainy on its own keen. Not only the animals get killed. Humans too, and the earth itself is filled, With fields soaked in blood, and mountains cried with flood. You, yes you, you too is the cause of this abomination. You are the root of this loathing pollution. You turned this paradise into a dungeon. But it’s not only you, it includes me, He and she and most of the “We”. We… are the catalyst of destruction, the source of contamination. Our hearts get clouded with bitterness and hate. We got sullied by jealousy and it destroys our fate. But then we love, cause we have faith. Humans are kind in nature. They were just a victim that’s why they capture attention, love and affection that’s for sure. In times of need, we help each other, We extend our arms even outside the border. Because human wants life and not murder. We can still save ourselves from extinction. We just need to be human through life’s education. Cooperation, Compassion, Love among all nations. Retribution, no! We don’t need that. All we have to do is forbid all the wrath. Give love, promote peace, show respect. Why not? I believe there is still love, there is still care, there is still hope Humanity is not that dull, we still got rope. To grasp, to cling, we just need to hold. We are tenacious, we are firm We are scaffold, we’re indestructible. We learn to learn, We change for change, We sometimes sob, but then we love.
