Bubble Gum and Braces

We sat on a blanket under a big oak tree, Just Johnny-boy and little ol' me. We laughed and joked and had some fun, Under that oak shading us from the sun. Johnny put his hand deep in his pocket, When he took it out, he was holding a pretty locket. Wanted little ol' me to wear it around my neck, but I had to give him a good long peck. We looked at each other with a gleam on our faces, But the bubble gum I was chewing was stuck to my braces!

Thankyou. Trying to get into a better place mentally since it's been a not so good few months. So a little silliness can't hurt!
