Broken Wing
Harsh winds untimely arrived in spring,
Little bird escaped with a broken wing,
Fell on ground, started to look around,
Safe corner she found made no sound.
She couldn’t fly, didn’t stop seeing sky,
Kissed her broken wing, aimed high,
Time was the best healer she believed,
Within few days, she felt so relieved.
Started small flights, balancing on rope,
Her wing was broken, but not her hope,
Soon, there came her success flight,
Little bird flew high, was out of sight.
Like that bird, I never let my hope die,
For sure, difficult times shall pass by,
Puzzles of life are sometimes strange,
But positive outlook can bring a change.
