Blessings With a Capital B
Jesus came down here to earth
in that manger on Christmas morn
here was God as in a body
having came to rescue us in our storm
This child came to be my saviour
to take my sin on that Calvary tree
there is my eternal hope secured
in Christ my Lord who set me free
Looking back on my own blessings
at Christmas time with a capital B
got engaged to Christine in '90
setting a date looking at the tree
In my school days, life was simply sweet
presents were special as money was short
a yearly annual was a big thing to get
with a few favourite sweets meant a lot
In recent years my favourite CD
was always special really felt good
a classical gem brought me calm
for me, calm is my pressie I wish to see
(This is written about the blessings of that wonderful Christmas night in Bethlehem, Then about blessings I've received in past Christmas's. Joy and peace to all!
