Black Rose Stained Red

Love is my worst enemy Darkness within identity Changes with no promises Your eyes they rage ominous A black rose among red You don't eat when others get fed You don't get water, you shed All the truth that you have said No one believes you, they all just avoid Crumbling down an endless void

Though I don't really like romanticizing depression like that, but for poetry, it works really well.

No, I don't mind. I am posting my poems in order of appearance, leaving out a few containing sexual content of course. I remember thinking about love alot, as I was single at the time I wrote this. I also felt pity for the beautiful soul that suffer from the hell we call depression. They are all very beautiful, but they don't see that, and because they are sad, and because roses are generally beautiful, I referred to them as 'Black Roses'.
