Birds
I sat down to watch the birds fly
in a garden filled with roses,
while glittering rays strike my eyes
as the sun rises.
My heart, they touch; my soul, they calm.
They're like a moonlight lullaby.
Their songs are ringing bells of freedom
in the fourth day of July.
