Awaken your true fortitude
Define the essence of your latitude
Pray for strength to climb the rock way upward
Climb ye with the confidence of a daring leopard
Within every human is perfect fortitude
Dive deep into the bottom heart to feel the magnitude
Fortitude is the guard and support of the all virtues
In firmness she emits her traces of perfect clues
Fortitude is the marshal of meaningful thought
Its exactitude cannot be outward fright wrought
She is the armor of the human will
Fortitude endures like mountain hill
She is the fortress of reason
Her foes include all the acts of treason
Gird your hearts with silent fortitude
Don’t you let fear your hear intrude
Suffer yet hope in all things good
Strength of mind may it be thy food
That enables thee to endure adversity with courage
And leads you away from wild meaningless rage
