At Any Given Time
Everything be in its place
at any moment in time;
Each and every crumbled leaf,
every thought that comes to mind.
Neither here nor there is lost
to the solitary view;
Nothing shifts under the tides
or in winds that now blow through.
Though life and death co-exist
somehow they are pulled apart,
While echoes from distant songs
quell the beatings of a heart.
Blink once and it is moved on
to a silence not yet heard;
Dwelling, then, eternally
in accordance to His word.
