Great Aunt Rosa knits and crochets, but lately it's gotten carried away. bigger and better she'll delightfully say, while the rest of the family is left in dismay. It's more than just a color display, her nimble fingers have gone quite astray, the biggest project is now underway, a riotous monster whose name is Sir Ray. It fills up the house, we moan and we pray, what else can we do; we must move away, then Rosa and Ray forever in play will welcome the pixies, the gnomes, and the fae.

Dear Chetta, this is a delightful yarn spun from whimsy and mischief! Great Aunt Rosa's outlandish crocheting leaps off the page, leaving the family both exasperated and strangely charmed. The image of Sir Ray, a monstrous yet playful creation, filling the house and displacing its inhabitants, is both humorous and touching. I love the final twist, hinting at a world beyond where Rosa and her fantastical creatures can exist freely. . - Daniel
