Answered Prayer

In spirit strong I prayed for your return recalling daily memories, precious, dear. No other understands my love for you forgiveness that a heart went on to bear. Sometimes I faced the dread of never knowing, the love we had before my days were done. So, it was as my pulse and steps were slowing I begged my God for your return to come. In one morning’s, twilight day, God answered and soon caresses lived outside my dreams. This second time around possessed a promise. Your heart professed a true love as it seems. In winter’s frost our romance warms the fire. God bless us that it never will expire. 1/10/2023
