ANOTHER FRIDAY
A red striped zebra came my way.
I sat him down,
Invited him to stay.
Marvelous red and white stripes,
Given his nose was covered in blue.
How did you come by these glorious stripes?
Sheepishly hanging his head,
"I went to a candy bar one night and ate tons of red jellybeans,
Started a fight!"
"Unfortunately, my nose
Went from black to blue.
The doctor doesn't know what to do."
Sitting back, I began to laugh.
To look at you,
No zoo for you!
"One of a kind,
We could make a mint.
Or two".
"A traveling show.
I'll be the ring master,
You bring the audience laughter."
To this day,
The red striped zebra and I,
Continue to fly.
