Anguish and Shame

The anguish I feel in winter came from the times of slavery the pity I felt when I saw black people sweating for life on the other side of the Atlantic... came... from the pain I felt, but I didn't live... banzo of the afro of the coffee plantations in the Minas Gerais life...

Yes … a dark history no doubt and slavery, domination, abuse, exploitation still continues across the globe, in different forms, mostly unreported.
