Alternative Resting Place Memories
sleeping in my blue car
buried in snow after an unexpected snowstorm
i find myself smiling although i have nowhere to go
something about a snowflake in times of hardship
it makes you forget....even if only for a moment
sleeping in my silver car
mesmerized by a staring moon
i feel as if God is watching me
i do not feel worthy of even His most watchful eye
He disagrees, and i dare not argue the contrary
sleeping in my childhood bedroom
while housesitting for the price of temporary shelter
i begin to remember a time when i had dreams, plans, and goals
i wonder where it all went....amongst the constant movement of everchanging time
perhaps somewhere between another bad decision and the bitter repetition
