Alone, At Last

Collaboration with Marcello Eans I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by others That don’t seem to know what it means to love. In the relationships I’ve had, I’ve always felt smothered. All I’ve ever wanted was a little help from above. So, here I am now, getting down on my knees, Praying to a God that I hope really does exist. I’ve done nothing in my life other than try to please. Why won’t you answer me? Don’t keep me in the dark like this. Are there rewards for the deeds done from my heart In the midst of savages tearing my character apart? To love those who hate me, forgive and forget. In the beginning, this can’t be the plan that was meant. I want to give up daily and call it quits, But my life is a best seller and can’t end like this. I’ll run this race to win and endure what I must. Sometimes I don’t show it, but it’s you that I trust.
