Addiction
Telling lies under a blue sky,
Just feeding that addiction.
You're always just filling that prescription.
Growth has no place in this war of attrition.
Breath hangs heavy, that's a moral sigh.
I can't be apart of your affliction.
Never once has anyone wished you'd die.
From my perspective people want you to thrive.
Have you prepared for the cost of this addiction.
No, of course not you live on the friction.
Dismissal at whatever price you had to pay.
Dismayed here I stand over your grave to pray.
