on night's soft pillow sky's king is falling asleep- abdication's dream!* © Demetrios Trifiatis 16 June 2020 * Seeing everything that happens these days around the world and being disappointed, the sun might like to give up his throne so he doesn't have to witness tomorrow!

It is indeed a bleak time; which means we have to be more sun-like ourselves and accentuate the positives.

If I where the sun I wouldn't mind abdicating myself! This poem is so powerful and it is going to haunt me for a while.

Yes, fortunately, the sun will return tomorrow but the time will come in the very distant future that the sun will not return my friend! Thank you!
