A Woman's Thoughts

I want to be worth not loosing The friend you won't let down The one person you won't lie to, no matter how bad the truth may hurt I want you to know you hold more, than my heart You hold my future, my dreams, my tears and my smiles I want you to know a look is all it takes to be enough I get scared when I feel insecure, don't get mad, hold me Trusting you is more important than diamonds and gold I want to be worth not taking those daring chances I offer you these things in return without the asking Only then will I give my full heart in return ©Donna Jones

i don't usually print other peoples poetry but this i did. because everything you said it was all the same for me. even on trust issues you brought me around. this was a great piece for me personally. it made me feel secure that their was a woman out there like this that i couls make feel this way. i hope you see that with the amount of words i am using that i really liiked this. john

Hey David...thanks for stopping...as for a woman who has been married for 36 of her 53 years I do take those chances....just as the title says...just some thoughts I wish I could get through to my hubby of 22 years sometimes ...
