A Wise Man
A wise man once told me, love will never end
unless you give in
To a world of hate and unholy sin
A wise man once told me, true love is stong and pure
unless you fear
And push away the things that near
A wise man once told me, My love grows strong
It's never wrong
It always plays a song
A wise man once told me, my heart beat plays what it knows
love's what it shows
As I give you this single rose
A wise man once told me, the purpose of the rose
He said it was for love I suppose
But I told him, it is what I know
I once told the wise man, My love is forever, and forever you shall see
A wise man once told me, That's the way it should be
